Enter into His rest...

Almost there...

It has been over a month since I have written my last post, so I figured it was well overdue.  Since the last time I updated, I have gotten news that our paperwork has reached our daughter's country.  Only 3 papers had to be redone and I have already finished those and they are again off to her country.  The SW (social worker) said the paperwork was corrected and will be looked over by the inspector for the region Maiya is in.  If you remember the picture in one of the previous posts of the paperwork; that is what we had to redo, but only 3 different documents this time instead of the full count we had before.  We went to the capitol of our state and this time the girls and I spent some time there just having fun in the plaza.  We even went to the city's library and spent some time in the kids section.  It was also a good excuse to not use the public restroom for the plaza.  After having lunch in the park we bought a cupcake to share.  Yes, one cupcake!  It was Gluten free so it was $4.50 per and I didn't have a lot of extra money since I already bought the girls ice cream ($4.25 for two SMALL scoops).  I hadn't intended to spend all the $20 that I had brought, but it is a tourist trap so it is more expensive, I forgot about that.

We have been praying for the judges, lawyer, & inspector in the area for soft hearts and willingness to accept our adoption request.  I have not been updated regarding the families that have been waiting since February on a court date.  Hopefully they have good news for them!

We were in prayer for $500 to send to the adoption agency for the rest of the Dossier fee and it came within 8 days...we were so excited to send that off, along with the corrected paperwork.  We are now praying for our money to go to Maiya's country for the first trip.  I will not tell you the amount we need because I want the Lord to provide without me telling everyone what we need.  I know that is how He likes to work anyhow.  We hadn't mentioned to anyone re: the $500 (that I know of) and he provided exactly what we needed to send in.

My friends threw us a Pampered Chef party (that ends August 31st, Face Book under Warren Adoption Pampered Chef Fundraiser) and that was really great to have our friends support us.  My sister also called from where she lives and said she was going to throw a P.Chef party as well to help raise the funds.  I am so thankful to God that he provides for us in everything!!

We are hoping to have travel dates before the end of this month and I will let you know when they come in.  From what I can tell through others in the adoption process, we don't get a lot of head notice before we have to leave for country.  So all you who have said you will watch our kids here in the states, be ready!!

Blessings!
Rick & Suzanne
