Seek First & No Fear

I heard this verse three different times in the past two days by three different sources...God is speaking...
Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Then I said to the Lord, "if we are really supposed to do this, I am afraid"...as I am in the kitchen listening to the radio as I speak to the Lord and make lunch...the Lord answers "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2Timothy 1:7).

Ok God, you have my attention!  I will not fear, but I will seek you first and follow your lead.  I feel you leading us to adopt this beautiful little girl. 

I wanted to let you know if you are reading this, that these are the thoughts and prayers and answers as we are led by the Lord through this process of faith and a walk with God.  I don't know why he chooses us for such things in life, or not.  I wanted to record what He is saying to us as we try to hear from Him, so this is why there might be more than one post per day.
