Hands & Feet

The Lord woke me (Suzanne) at 2:57 am to give me a message and a few songs to go with it.  The first song is a new one by Chris Tomlin, called Our God and the other is an older called Hands and Feet by Audio Adrenaline.  So here is a very short outline of this blog:

Night Watches

Rick & I feel compelled by our Savior to adopt Maiya.   The first week deciding to adopt her was very hard.  We did not know if we were hearing from the Lord or if our own desires were being put forward.  The same day that we felt we HAD to make a yes or no decision Rick’s truck was given the diagnosis of “nearly dead”.  It would take $3500 to get it in good condition again.  So do we choose life for our truck or life for a little girl we have never met?  What is the greater good?  The adoption agency needed at least $3000 to start the process of adoption.  So we literally got our on knees in our bedroom and asked the Lord, to reveal HIS heart to us.  Within seconds we plainly knew that He was showing us His heart for us adopt Maiya.  The next day was a Monday and we sent off $3000 to our adoption agency and put our adoption and the truck in the hands of our GREAT, BIG, CAPABLE, GOD! Ps 50:10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains, And the wild beasts of the field are Mine. "If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness.

That being said, God in His awesome power, divine knowledge and providence, chooses to use people like you and me to fulfill His purposes.   Our purpose right now is to bring Maiya home.  Since God is the one calling us to do this, we know He will supply all our needs.  We don’t have all the answers, but we know that God wants to use you and me to bring one of His little ones home.  He wants all of us to work as one body for His mission.  United in Christ we can do anything, and everything.     

                                  WE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS, REMEMBER!!

Mt 17:19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?" So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Rick and I are asking you to have faith with us to bring Maiya home.  As you step out in faith (and prayer) and give to bring Maiya home, He will meet you where you are and supply all your needs as well.  Let us be His hands and His feet!

1Co 12:12  For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
