Truck: I wanted to give you an update on the truck with *problems*. The other day Rick said that he didn't think it was the engine, but maybe a lifter (like I know what he is telling me??). "Oh really honey, is that good or bad?" SO as our conversation progressed, I learned that the engine might not be the problem after all. So Rick took it to another mechanic who said that he also thought it was the lifter. He switched lifters with the other side and the knocking was still there. So long story short, the engine is not needing to be replaced, but to be cleaned out. The owner before us must not have changed the oil too often and it was build up. Roughly $100 later with cleaning fluid and paying the mechanic we are back in business. The first estimate was $3000 to $3500, almost the exact amount we needed to send to the adoption agency. GOD is AWESOME!!
Daisy: Today a women sent me a comment through this blog and said she too was looking to adopt Maiya, but she couldn't since her other adoption was in another part of the region. She told me who she was adopting, and I found out that Megan and I were already praying for her new daughter to find her forever family. Our daughter was known by the name Daisy through another agency. She sent me a bunch of pictures of Maiya from birth to now....so cool! I told her that she was my new best friend!
GOD is AWESOME!!
